Pre-Service Class #1: Emergency Behavior Intervention - Part 2

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Class #1 introduces foster parents to the idea of being attuned with their foster child. Attunement is the art of being able to understand subtle cues the foster child displays in order to establish trust and be able to manage and predict future behavior. The class discusses strategies that can be utilized to gain attunement with foster children.

This class is required for all new foster families ONLY, but you must attend Foster Parent Orientation prior to participating in this class unless you have received prior authorization from the Home Development Department.
