We are so excited you are interested in volunteering! There are many ways to join us in our mission to bring permanence and healing to the kids and families from hard places.

Step 1: Volunteer Opportunities
If you want to enlist your small group, you could provide 6 meals for a family meal train, make/deliver a family care basket, sponsor/serve lunch at a family event, etc.
The Story Team will capture and share stories through photo, video, or written word to be shared through social media or newsletters.
This team helps host fun outdoor events for our foster and adoptive families. These are fun, outdoor events that take place on Saturdays from 10:00 am - 1:00pm.
Our Sanctuary staff is one of the hardest working staffs out there. This team provides encouragement to our frontline staff.
This team helps host our foster family Art Workshops. These events take place on Saturdays from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. You don’t have to be an artist to volunteer!
The Helping Hands Team will help the foster home with organizing, laundry, dishes, and any other household need.
Are you a quilter or seamstress? Our Quilts and Blankets team creates blankets to welcome our new children and teens.
Our Foster Closet Support Team provides material goods to foster children by shopping at the foster closets for the children upon placement.
Our Handy Work Team volunteers help lift or move heavy items and do a variety of handyman work in our office or for our foster families.
The Care Portal Response Team will meet the needs of children placed through Care Portal requests.
The Freezer Meal Team provides meals for the in-office freezer to be given to foster families when a need arises.
The Rep Team will be responsible for hosting a table representing The Sanctuary at local events or presentations. This will require additional training.
The Meal Train team will help new placements as they get acclimated to their new home, the Meal Train Team provides meals once they are placed.
