Pre-Service Class #7: Emergency Behavior Intervention - Part 4

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Class #7 helps foster families understand and navigate the complex situations that arise within a foster family in order to be more effective in de-escalation of youth. The class helps the family be prepared for complex issues that may arise in their marriage, with bio children, and with extended family. In this class the family learns they are not alone, and that most foster families follow similar patterns of behavior and levels of understanding along the journey.

This class is required for all new foster families ONLY, but you must attend Foster Parent Orientation prior to participating in this class unless you have received prior authorization from the Home Development Department.
