Pre-Service Class #5: Trauma Informed Care - Part 2

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Class # 5 discusses how the ability to attach to a caregiver is the number one indicator of future success for a child. The class discusses strategies for bonding with a child who is averse to bonding and why attachment should always take precedence over punishment.

This class is required for all new foster families ONLY, but you must attend Foster Parent Orientation prior to participating in this class unless you have received prior authorization from the Home Development Department.
